Our Havanese litters, current and upcoming. A listing marked "available" really is, today.
Puppy photos coming soon. Our current litters are photographed in week three, once the grooming ritual is well underway and their coats have settled. The thumbnails below will be replaced right after the photo session.
Every other detail — colour, sex, date of birth, price, vaccinations — is accurate.
We don't work on a first-come, first-served basis. After we've talked — by email, phone or during a visit — your family is added to the litter that suits you.
Matching happens around week six, based on temperament observed since birth — never the colour picked from a photo.
A $500 deposit confirms your place and applies to the total price. It's refundable if the litter doesn't produce the right puppy for you.
A Havanese is small and takes its time maturing: every puppy stays until twelve weeks old, rather than the eight weeks more common with larger breeds — enough time to properly finish the grooming ritual and desensitization work.
No dog truly is, 100%. The Havanese has hair rather than an undercoat and sheds very little, which often makes it well tolerated by mildly allergic people. If you or someone close to you has known allergies, we recommend spending time with one of our adult dogs before reserving.
Plan on a full brushing two to three times a week if you keep the coat long, or a short maintenance clip at the groomer's every six to eight weeks if you prefer. Since our puppies live the grooming ritual from three weeks old, the transition is usually easy for new families.
Yes, it's one of the reasons we chose this breed. The Havanese is sociable, adaptable and well suited to a small frame. We still supervise every first meeting with young children, as with any puppy.
No, and that's deliberate. Matching is based on temperament observed over several weeks, not coat colour. A very independent puppy placed with a family looking for a dog glued to their side becomes a problem after a few months. I introduce you to the puppy or puppies that suit your household, and you decide from there.
Yes. A two-year guarantee against serious hereditary conditions, given to you in writing when the contract is signed. It provides for replacement or refund, your choice. You also receive both parents' screening results and your puppy's bile acid test.
Between three and eight months depending on the season. With only two litters a year, our puppies are often spoken for before they're born. Join the waiting list: we notify registered families before a litter is published on the site.
Join the waiting list. We notify registered families as soon as a breeding is confirmed — often three months before the puppies are born.
